I have been around the block enough times to know you don't whine your way into the Dr's any time you have "flu-like symptoms." However, we had to take the kids in to meet the new family doc today, and see about getting a referral for an eye Dr. Imagine our surprise when the Dr then informs us that two of the three kids have swine flu based on their symptoms, and the high perevalence of recent confirmed cases of swine flu in the area. I to am sharing the same symptoms as the kids; however, I managed to make it back out of the office before hearing this precious little tidbit first hand.
